The Governors have a responsibility for all aspects of school life.  At Hague Bar Primary School, the Governing Body meet regularly to plan strategically and work on specific school issues.

In addition to the full Governing Body we have 2 sub-committees which are:

1. Teaching, Learning and Safeguarding
2. Buildings and Resources 

Our priorities for the academic year 2022 -2023 are as follows:

• Provide clarity on the role of the Governing Board Introduce governors to parents and children
• Report on progress against our objectives
• Undertake a parent voice survey this term and, most importantly, share the feedback
• Develop a home-school communications policy

We do currently have vacancies for governors. If you are interested please approach Mrs McCurdy or an existing governor (via school) to discuss this further.
